Hair care can be a nightmare for some of us. But it doesn’t have to be. Unfortunately, so many beauty and hair products out there promise solutions, but in actuality, they do more harm than good. They are filled with destructive chemicals that damage our hair in the long-term even if they seem to work in the short-term. However, there are simple ways that we can take care of our locks without adding more chemicals and hassle to our routine.
That’s a Nail Biter!
Biting your nails is not just an annoying bad habit, but it is a surefire way to spread germs and infection. Bacteria reside under your nails, and when you bite them, you can potentially transfer those germs to your mouth, which could lead to infection. And if you bite too closely, you can cause infection around your nails.
My Lips Are Sealed
You don’t need a lip injection to get celebrity-worthy, kissable lips. Simple lip care and application techniques will do the trick. Exfoliate your lips daily and use plumping lip balm. When you go to apply makeup, choose a color that matches your natural lip color and apply slightly outside of your lip line. Don’t go overboard, but just a little bit will give you fuller looking lips.
A Sight for Sore Eyes
Getting long, gorgeous lashes doesn’t have to be a pain. Choosing great mascara with a thick, lash-extending brush is a great way to add length and fullness to your lashes. Additionally, using an eyelash curler will give shape to your lashes, and a nice eyeliner will help your eyes (and lashes) really pop!
